Map and Directions Altonen Orchards fruits and vegetables have been a tradition in the Traverse City area for almost 100 years. All of our farm fresh produce is available in our farm markets. We are just south of Elk Rapids (Michigan) on US-31, just minutes north of Traverse City. The market has a big variety of produce and there is always something fresh from the harvest coming in.

From Traverse City The market is about 10 miles north of Traverse City on the east side of US-31. Look for the Altonen sign and the greenhouses on your right. From Charlevoix and Petoskey Drive south on US-31. The market will be another 3 miles past Elk Rapids on your left. From Detroit and downstate North on I-75 to Grayling, then west on M-72 to US-31. North on US-31 From Grand Rapids and Chicago North on US-131 to Kalkaska. West on M-72 to US-31. North on US-31
